Spear Leaner

Flex the tech and roll. This is a documentation.

Over the last past week I developed two PHP additions to help me with my web development and marketing work. The First one was RSS2MYSQL, which allowed me to take as many RSS feeds as I liked and aggregate them into one database table. From there I could use SQL Queries to generate a randomized list of items, helping to create unique content finger prints and avoid Google Duplicate Content issues.

I Built it, but I needed a way to sell it. So I researched for awhile about how to have an automated purchase and then download system, and found a couple of pay sites that would manage it for me, a couple of checkout management systems that I could integrate with my website, and some directions on how to use the Google API to do it myself.

The Checkout management systems either cost too much or were too complicated.
The Pay Sites required me to work through a third party, and I didn't want this.
All that was left was the Google API.

SO I customized a very simple PHP/MYSQL script to integrate with the Google API and help me streamline the digital product sales process. It only works for stand alone items such as files, ebooks, photos, etc, but it simple and only takes a minute to set-up.
